Clematis 'Danae'
The light blue/white bell shaped flowers are normally larger than the type and are borne with typical viticella profusion, in flower from July to September it is best hard pruned and will reach3M in any aspect. If you want a clematis with a more natural look then this fits the bill. Clematis 'Danae' was found in the garden at Burford House and named for the finder, introduced in 1998 by Treasures. It looks to be almost a pure viticella and forms part of the national collection.
