Clematis 'Huldine'
Clematis 'Huldine
has
pearly white flowers with a faint pink stripe on the reverse.
Hard prune in spring, this variety can be shy of flowering and
does well in full sun situations in the cool of the UK climate
when it is one of the best late flowering clematis usually
flowering profusely in august September and October.
Raised by Morel of France in 1900, long grouped with the
viticellas, it is maintained in the collection of viticellas
although it is not a perfect fit! Both leaves and seeds being
more like a x jackmanii type.
