Clematis 'Kiev'

Deep purple flowers from July to September, can be cut back hard during winter. The seedling which became 'Kiev' was found in the Estonian Botanic gardens by Mr Eric Pranno, he named it Kiev after the Ukranian capital. The raiser of the seedling Mr Orlov later approved the name, it seems to date back to the 1990's
