Clematis 'Miss Bateman'

Very pretty medium sized white rounded flowers May June and a smaller display later. Any aspect it requires only light pruning but can be cut back after its first flush to keep it tidy.

Raised by Charles Noble by crossing C.'Standishii with C. 'Fortunii' in 1869 Clematis 'Miss Bateman' is named after the daughter of James Bateman the builder of the famous gardens at Bidulph Grange. It has an A.G.M.
