Clematis (montana) 'Warwickshire Rose'Clematis 'Warwickshire Rose' has the deepest pink scented flowers over the darkest bronze foliage , flowering in April/May. For best results plant in sun or semi shade but will grow in any aspect, avoid frost pockets which can cause loss of flower buds in spring. No prune. This chance seedling of montana rubens was found in his garden by the garden designer John Williams and named in honour of his County of residence and his mother Rose. sometime in the 1990's |
