Clematis 'Veronica's Choice'

Large very pale lavender semi double flowers have wavy crinkled edges, it flowers in May, June and again in September, light prune. Although it will grow in any aspect it looks especially good in shady spots. It took me ages to find out who Veronica was! Apparently she is Walter Pennell's second daughter. Named in 1973. It is recorded as a cross between C. 'Vyvyan Pennell' and C.'Percy Lake' Fortunately Clematis 'Veronica's Choice' is a good grower.
