Stauntonia hexaphylla

Closely related to the Holboellia this is a vigorous evergreen climber originally from Japan and Korea, introduced to the UK in1874. The flowers appear in spring and both male and female flowers are carried on the same plant, many sources claim it is scented but I detect very little, the flowers are however a good bit larger and more visible than those of Holboellia coriacea. Hardy this will grow to around 10M
