Parthenocissus tricuspidata 'Lowii'

Parthenocissus tricuspidata or "Boston Ivy". As the Latin name implies it has three lobed leaves, these colour up well in Autumn. The form 'Lowii' has smaller leaves which are cut and feathered often looking 7 lobed or more, these also retain colour through the season . This uses its adhesive pads on tendrils to stick very closely to walls fences and tree trunks. this form seems to have appeared in the late 1800's. All forms of this are good at covering walls.
