Roseland House in 1907

Although in the background enough can be seen to say the house has not changed in appearance since 1907.

The occasion was the street celebrations held to mark the revival of mining locally (Arsenic to the southern States of America for control of bole weevil in cotton gave a new lease of life to the tin mines around Chacewater)

 
and below an even earlier picture, this appears to date to the 1880's the person taking this picture was one of the shop keepers and a keen Photographer he ran a photographic studio at the shop and was stood outside to take this.
