Pond

The pond is a modest one 20' X 8' and was our first project in the garden (anything to avoid redecorating the house!)

It is now overhung by a large Eucalyptus aggregata which we grew from seed. Not ideal but we never expected it to do so well! The pond houses the usual wildlife, Frogs Toads and two species of Newt. The whole garden is home for many large Dragonflies of several species which hunt any insects the Swallows miss during the Summer!.
