Rosa 'Complicata'

Although this looks (and sounds) like a species, it is in fact a hybrid; its exact parentage is not known but thought to be a Gallica X Rosa canina. It is a tough reliable shrub rose with large scented single bright pink flowers which have yellow stamens. June is its month of glory. A good doer and firm favourite.
