Rosa 'Parkdirektor Riggers'

One of the 'Kordesii' roses, the semi double flowers are deep velvety crimson. Sadly out of favour these days which is a shame as its a tough trouble free rose, perhaps its lack of strong scent is the reason?. Bred by Kordes in Germany in 1957 by crossing R. x kordesii X R. 'Our Princess' As well as the flowers it also produces a good crop of large orange red hips. I have never managed to produce this.
