Acokanthera oblongifolia

Acokanthera oblongifolia is an evergreen tree often seen as street planting in warmer parts of Europe it has wonderful large leathery leaves when juvenile and makes masses of scented white flowers each year, these are followed by purple fruits a bit like plums - these however are very poisonous. It is one of our favourite plants in the conservatory as it seems completely pest free
