Abutilon megapotamicum

Long lax stems make this evergreen shrub ideal for walls, the red and yellow pendant flowers appear for 12 months of the year, but it must have a spot sheltered from cold winds (north and east). It is ok in partial shade and not fussy as to soil type. (Min -8c)
Abutilon megapotamicum was introduced from Brazil in 1864 and received an Award of Merit in 1949
