Acacia fimbriata

A fine leaved evergreen shrub with attractive bronzing on the leaves. Acacia fimbriata is never very large especially in a container, it will produce masses of scented yellow fluffy flowers in February and March here in Cornwall. I originally bought the seed to try it outside but it has been wonderful inside and I have only just got one out. (min -2c)

Acacia retinodes

A fine leaved evergreen tree is much hardier than the above and the most lime tolerant Acacia species, the scented yellow flowers appear from summer on and it is much less likely to suffer from frost damage than the more familiar Acacia dealbata. (min -8c)
