Eucomis bicolor

Large bulbs which are late into growth (late May) Soon produce handsome clumps of mottled and spotted leaves and flower spike topped with a rosette of leaves (about 30" 75cm tall). The flower spike is pinky purple and creamy green, long lasting from late June to November. Eucomis bicolor can be grown outside in the ground if drainage is reasonable, heavy feeding is beneficial.
