Paraserianthes lophantha

Fast growing evergreen tree, not frost hardy (min 0c) but does well in pots and is very quick to replace from seed. Flowers are Sulphur yellow bottle brush type and it flowers in succession from spring to winter, flowers are followed by long seed pods, from which it is easy to raise new plants.
Paraserianthes lophantha was introduced from Western Australia around 1803 and was formally known as Albizzia lophantha
