P. 'Lillian Pottinger'
Small grey green serrated leaves smell strongly of camphor, the small white flowers are carried in sprays above the plant

P. 'Mabel Grey'
Large rough leaves smell strongly of lemon sherbert, The pink flowers have both red and white blotches on the upper petals.

P. 'Madam Nonin'
Gets called all sorts of things this! It is a strong growing plant with strongly scented leaves (difficult to describe the scent) It appears to be some sort of sport from patens unique whose red colour is very similar(Root cuttings from Madam Nonin produce a Patens Unique like plant), Madam Nonin however has crimped and crinkled petals giving the flowers and "old velvet" look.

P. papillionaceum
This is a very large species, I have to throw out plants after 8 feet! the leaves are rounded and up to 18 inches across, will sometimes go through the winter outdoors as it has tough woody stems, the flowers have only two petals at the top which look like wings- hence its name which means "Like a butterfly" Its main claim to fame is the strongly scented leaves seem to be leathal to white fly!!

P. 'Patons Unique'
Large plant with strongly scented leaves (difficult to describe the scent, could be called sweetly metallic!) the flowers are large and showy, scarlet crimson shading to white with darker markings

P. 'Pink Capricorn'

Previously known as P.capitatum, it has a sweet rose scent, the medium to large pink flowers have attractive markings, this does very well outside flowering all summer long

P. 'Pink Champagne'
The large green leaves smell strongly of lemon, and it has very large pink flowers with attractive darker markings
