Polygala myrtifolia 'Grandiflora'The purple pea like flowers are carried over most of the year and are very pretty. the evergreen leaves are small and neat (like myrtle!) growth is slight and tidy, in all this makes a great choice for patio or conservatory. Now growing happily in the garden, but it needs to be an older plant with a woody base, young plants will need to come in, wall protection will help (min -1c) Thought to be a hybrid, the original species come from South Africa. |
