Prostanthera lasianthos

This wonderfully aromatic shrub is one of the Australian mint bushes, it has beautifully marked white scented flowers in great profusion in summer. the leathery long evergreen leaves make for a medium sized shrub which can be pruned after flowering to keep it in check. Hardy only in milder parts of the UK it also makes a good conservatory plant. needs full sun. (min -5c)

Originally from Tasmania Prostanthera lasianthos was introduced to the UK in 1808
