Senna corymbosa (syn Cassia corymbosa)

Formally known as Cassia corymbosa (and most likely this was wrong and it should have been Cassia obtusa). This evergreen shrub has masses of yellow flowers in the late Summer and Autumn. It requires a hot position to flower well and outside of the South and West should be given greenhouse protection. (Min -11c) It make a really good conservatory shrub for late summer colour. It does well for us west facing outside but against the greenhouse glass. Introduced to the UK around 1790.
