Tibouchina grandifolia

An evergreen shrub with wonderful exotic foliage, the spires of rich purple flowers appear from early autumn through the winter. For this reason, and because it is tender it is best protected under glass in the UK (min +1c). It can like other Tibouchina be cut back hard after flowering.
