Terms and Conditions

The plants are, in the case of the climbers well established 2 years old+ in 2lt poly bag containers and on 3' sticks you will have been advised before sending in your payment if they are going to be smaller or younger.
Shrubs and perennials are also well established in appropriate size poly bag containers
(See picture below)

MAIL ORDER There is no minimum order size.
Carriage charges are per parcel:- By 24hr carrier. This is for any quantity of plants 15.00 (Mainland England )

Scotland Wales Northern Island and islands 16

( Isle of Man, plus other EU countries contact us for a carriage quote which will be dependant on quantity) Sorry we can not send to the USA or any other non EU country

Quotes for parcels to Europe will depend on weight and size

NB Mail order is dispatched all year depending on availability. We prefer dispatching on Mondays and Tuesdays but can change this to suit you if a different day would be better for your delivery, but we do not send on a Friday as there are no deliveries over the Weekend.

Cheque with order please. (made payable to

Credit cards if you would like to pay by either "Paypal or one of the major credit cards then we can issue a "Pay Now" button by email, in order that you can do this via a secure site (Experience suggests that the site will not Accept cards where the delivery address is different to the cards registered address) - Please do not send us your credit card details. Sorry but we cannot accept credit card payments over the phone or on this website,
And don't forget to supply us a delivery address etc!
A clear address with a POST CODE & Contact phone number is essential! An Email address is helpful to let you know its on its way. Delivery instructions for the carrier should be included if you are likely to be out during the working day (i.e. "please leave in shed") otherwise they will not leave the parcel without a signature.  
(The carrier provides a 24 hr service however plants are packaged to survive 14 days in transit, but in reality the shorter the time the better)

Plants MUST be dealt with on receipt. Problems with the delivery should be notified within 3 days of receiving the parcel.
and please if it does not turn up by the time we have said it will, let us know, its our problem not yours.

This is a large range of plants for a small nursery to maintain, we never have large stocks of some plants. If we do not have something, but are going to have it available later we will say so, you can then either re contact us nearer the time, or place your order and wait. We do not cash any cheques until the plants are due for dispatch.

APRIL to SEPTEMBER if you would rather come another time please ring there is usually no problem.
