Jasminum humile 'Revolutum'The base species J. humile has small yellow sweetly scented flowers and varies in its hardiness depending on where the seed was collected (introduced 1650) the form Jasminum humile 'Revolutum' arrived from China in 1814 and is reliably hardy, and evergreen in milder areas and has large waxy scented yellow flowers all summer. It was given an A.M in 1976. The further up the country you go the more shelter this requires to flower well (min -6c). It is really a shrub and only needs a warm wall in colder parts. |
