Clytostoma callistegiodes

An evergreen climber with glossy leaves, which climbs with tendrils at the ends of the leaf stalks, the large lilac pink flowers are prettily veined foxglove shaped and borne in summer. Clytostoma callistegoides really needs protection in the UK and makes a good trouble free conservatory plant (min -4c for short periods), Mine seems happy on a low sunny wall outside. Has only recently been moved out of the genus Pandorea when it was known as Pandorea lindleyana. Tolerant of most soil types and easy to grow. Native to Argentina and the southern part of Brazil.
