Tecomanthe speciosaTecomanthe speciosa is sometimes referred to as the "Three King Islands Vine" these island are north of New Zealand and it was a very rare plant when first discovered, still not common it is never the less a beautiful glossy leaved evergreen. The tubular cream flowers are carried in bunches during autumn and winter. I have seen this flowering outside in Cornwall, but it is sensitive to frost damage and is happier under cold glass conditions in the UK. |
