Buddleja madagascariensisTall evergreen shrub with white/grey felty leaves and scented orange yellow flowers all winter, although grown in a few gardens outside in Cornwall, Buddleja madagascariensis does best in the UK as a conservatory plant. It is a typical Buddleja in that it tolerates poor soils and dry conditions. As the name implies it comes from Madagascar and arrived in the UK in 1827 (min 0c for the flowers but the plant will go down to -8c) |
