Clematis 'Aphrodite' is a new introduction from "Treasures" (2002) beautiful large smoky purple flowers, are carried over a long season. The habit is non climbing, but it looks fantastic growing through low shrubs when it will reach 1.5M. Any aspect it can be cut down in winter as it only flowers on the new stems.
