Clematis 'Elsa Spath' has large mid blue flowers with red stamens in May June and again on the new growth at the end of the summer. Any aspect, give a light prune in February to remove damaged or spindly growth, can be reduced in size after flowering in June when feeding and watering will ensure a good second flush later.
