Cobaea pringleiAn herbaceous climber in the UK, which climbs with tendrils, the large cream white flowers appear in September and will carry on until the first hard air frost often into the new year they are very attractive and shrug off the weather. Cobaea pringlei is a much finer flower than the more familiar C. scandens and lacks the "saucer" behind the cup it comes from North eastern Mexico it seems to look its best in the cold crisp mornings of Autumn. The roots are hardy and the plant has had no problems during 08/09 and 09/10 winters outside. |
