Isoplexis sceptrum
From Madeira this
spectacular evergreen shrub is slightly tender (min -2c) and
requires a position out doors with little or no frost, it will
survive brief spells of -2c but any lower and the resulting
damage may prevent flowering. The soft orange spikes of foxglove
like flowers are borne over a long period of the summer, making
this a good choice as a patio/container plant as well as the
conservatory.
